Thirty years in the field. Hydro power stations, gas infrastructure, sugar estates and household wiring — the same engineering standard, at any scale.
Transform Africa Energy (Private) Limited is a Zimbabwean electrical, solar and irrigation engineering company, delivering projects across Zimbabwe and the SADC region. Guided by the belief that life has equal value, we exist to help communities and industry thrive through reliable water and electrical infrastructure.
From a single home rewire to hydro power station rehabilitation, we meet the challenge of modern electrical and irrigation engineering — built on three decades of field experience across Southern Africa.
Our mission is to produce and continually develop quality engineering solutions at a competitive price, while fostering a climate where environmental technologies can thrive. We strive to serve our customers with the utmost integrity, and to their complete satisfaction — through continuous self-improvement and growth in our operations and our people.
We build lasting relationships through honesty, respect and trust — with customers, employees and the communities we work in. We expect everyone who carries the Transform Africa Energy name to hold these same principles.
Evans has worked as an electrician and electrical engineer since 1996 — starting his apprenticeship at Manicaland Electrical in Mutare. Over the following three decades his work has spanned flood-gate control system rehabilitation after Cyclone Idai, generator and lift-pump maintenance on the Sasol Gas Project, 33kV–110kV grid transformer installation, and centre-pivot irrigation engineering across sugar and cane estates.
Few electrical contractors in the region carry field experience at this scale — from a single household installation to the electrical systems behind a power station. Founding Transform Africa Energy in 2022 was about bringing that standard of engineering directly to clients, rather than through a large contracting firm several layers removed from the work.

Sandra co-directs Transform Africa Energy, overseeing operations, compliance and client delivery. As the company takes on larger and more distant contracts, her role is what keeps the standard of work and communication consistent — the company isn’t reliant on one person answering every call.
To be the electrical contractor of choice for commercial builders, home builders, property managers, industry and homeowners across Zimbabwe and the SADC region — and the employer of choice for electricians and engineers who share our standard.
Doing the right thing, every time. We do what we say, and own what we do — telling the truth even when it’s hard.
Every job, regardless of size, is engineered to the standard that keeps hydro stations, gas plants and sugar estates running.
We build relationships and capability across borders — because power, water and irrigation challenges don’t stop at Zimbabwe’s edges.
